What a great day! I walked 2.5 miles into town (I needed it), checked out Natchez, lost $40 American, came back and had a few Coronas and wings at La Fiesta Grande. While there, I had a great conversation with Police Officer Danny Barber (fairviewbar@aol.com), ex Judge Barber, up for election Judge Barber, and host to a number of foreign exchange students from Brazil and Columbia Barber. How Cool!!!! Danny, if you read this send me a picture, comment on the blog, good luck in the elections.As I said before, I wonder why a company like Nissan chooses one city over another. Natchez is a beautiful town but no industry to support it. The casino is small potatoes and doesn't really provide much for Natchez. There are so many towns like this in America where the industry said Sayonara and moved out for more fertile fields disregarding those who had made them more attractive in the first place.
